"Enjoy the City" Coupon Books
This year we will again be selling the "Enjoy the City" coupon book. The book features savings on casual dining, fast food, entertainment, retail services, travel, and recreation for Mount Pleasant, Charleston, and surrounding areas. The book sells for $20 and contains well over $1,000 in discount savings. There's over $800 in savings in Mount Pleasant alone (click here for details). Coupons like "buy one get one free" to the teenage popular hang-out of Ready, Set, Jump. Or lots of buy one, get one free pizza coupons for those last minute dinners, birthday parties, or weekend video game parties. There several dining locations in Mount Pleasant as well.
For every coupon book sold, the Cario Bands Program will make a 50% profit. That means $7.50 for your student account (75% of the profit of $10) for each book sold. It really adds up quickly. Our goal is to sell over 500 books! The company is also offering some great incentives to sell books - like a free book for each five (5) sold or gift cards when your child sells ten (10) books, or 20 books. The free books are yours to keep, use, sell (you keep the proceeds), give as gifts...whatever you like! (click here for a detail sheet)
For instance,
5 books sold = $37.50 toward your student account + one free book (worth $20) = $57.50 in incentives
10 books sold = $75.00 (student account) + two free books (worth $40) + $10 gift card = $125.00 in incentives
15 books sold = $112.50 (student account) + three free books (worth $60) + $10 gift card = $182.50 in incentives
20 books sold = $150.00 (student account) + four free books (worth $80) + $25 gift card =$255 in incentives
Last year we had three students sell over 20 books....it can be done!!
***PLEASE NOTE***
- Each student will be given a book on consignment to use for sales purposes. The book can be purchased, or must be returned in its original condition at the end of the sale on February 5th. For books not returned in proper condition, the student's account will be charged $20 on February 6th.
Volunteers will be needed to help verify and tally order forms and distribute books on the morning of February 5th. If you can spare a couple of hours, contact Alison Wachowski or Angela Byers at fundraising@cariobands.org to volunteer. Thanks!
