Symphonic Rehearsal Schedule For the Week
- Tuesday, January 23: 7:15 - 8:30 am
- Thursday, January 25: 7:15 - 8:30 am
Congratulations to the All-State Callbacks!
Congratulations to the 28 kids who got an all-state callback -- good job! Audition times are posted in the band room and should be up on the website tomorrow night. Directions to Lexington can be found on the website under 'Competitions and Events' -- click the All-State button. Good luck and good air, guys and gals!
Practice Charts
The first practice chart for the new nine weeks starts this week, continues next week and should be turned in on Friday, February 2. Your child should be practicing a minimum of 30 minutes for 5 days each week. The practice chart must be signed by a parent and counts as the homework grade. They should be placed in the grade level box on the table under the window to Mr. Scott's office. Late charts will not be accepted.
2nd Nine Week Grade Charts
In addition to your child's report card, you will also receive a copy of their grade chart with all the exercises they completed and the point score for that exercise. This chart is where their grade was determined and must be signed and returned to the band room (same place as the practice charts) for a grade for this nine weeks.
Email Changes
I am getting a few bounced emails where families have forgotten to include us in the list of people they want to have their new emails. Please, remember to include the webmaster@cariobands.org as one of the addresses you send notices about email changes to so you won't miss out on all these lovely announcements!
