Announcements for the Week Ending October 13, 2006
Lollipop Sales This Week
The October lollipop sales will be this Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 in the cafeteria during lunch periods. Don't forget your dollar -- there are some great new flavors! "Creme de la Creme" along with new sweets like pina colada, cinnamon, bubble gum, cotton candy, apple-caramel, and more will be offered.
Thanks to all the volunteers who have already signed up to help -- y'all are great!
Tuxedo Payments
After Hours needs all tuxedo payment ASAP. You will need to go to Citadel Mall and make your payment at the store if you haven't already paid.
BoxTops 4 Education
The first deadline of the year for BoxTops 4 Education is October 31st. Please have your labels in the band room by Thursday, Oct. 19th so that we have time to sort, count, and package by the deadline.
Next Installment of Band Fees Due
The third band fee installment of $50 is due in the band room by Monday, October 16th. If you need a statement of your account, please contact Nancy Oxendine at treasurer@cariobands.org and ask her to email or mail you one.
Required Forms
There are still some students who haven't turned in their 5 required forms yet. Please get those filled out and turned in to the band room as soon as you can --- if you can't find the forms, they can be printed from the website. Go to the 'Forms' section and click the five links under 'Required Forms'. Remember to get the medical form notarized.
Upcoming Events
- Monday, October 23 -- Pie and Fruit Sales Kickoff
- Thursday, October 26 (tentative) -- Fall Concert - 8th Grade Band and Jazz Band (this date may change to October 30 -- watch for email updates and ask your student!)
- Friday, October 27 -- Teacher Workday, NO SCHOOL!!
