Concert Review
The Holiday Concerts were fantastic! As Band parents, we should be very proud of the accomplishments of our young musicians. The talent at Cario is incredible. Take a moment and reflect on just how hard it is to play an instrument let alone at the level we had the pleasure of enjoying last Tuesday and Thursday evening. Congratulations to all of the the Bands. You all were a true holiday blessing.
Florida Trip Update
There are some hard copies of the "Trip Information Sheet and the Trip Commitment Form". If you haven't filled one out and turned it in, please do so with your deposit.
The deposit deadline is December 12, 2008. Please remember to attach the "Trip Commitment Form" with your deposit checks or the check will be returned.
The initial deposit that will secure a spot on the trip for your child will be $100. This deposit must be attached to the trip "Registration/Commitment" form that you will either download or pick up. The deposit will hold a place for your child and reserved spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 90 spots available and about 150 7th & 8th grade students, so get your deposit in early. Checks should be made out to "Cario Band Boosters" and you should write your child's name & FL Trip on the memo line. Please refer to the band handbook about trip eligibility and requirements. Page 14 in the handbook.
Pie and Fruit Sale Update
- What: Fruit Pick up is Saturday
- When: December 13,2008 from 8:00am to 1:00pm
- Location: St. George Warehouse, 1980 A Technology Drive – Charleston Regional Business Center – Charleston, 29492
Directions from Mt. Pleasant - 526 to Clements Ferry Road, turn right. Travel approx. 2.7 miles, turn left into Chas Regional Business Center, Turn right on Technology and we are the only building on the left.
- Remember: The product is perishable and delivery to purchasers should be within 48 hours.
