Uniforms Update

6th Grade Band

T-shirt and polo order forms were handed out with the handbook at Band Night or were sent home with students if a parent did not attend.  Each 6th grader will receive a black Cario Band t-shirt and a black Cario Band polo.  These shirts are included in the band fee.  Please return the order forms with your student's sizes by Friday, Sept 4.

All 6th grade students are required to purchase a black uniform pant from Stagecoach Clothing Store in the Piggly Wiggly/Target shopping center off the IOP connector.  Please take your child during the month of September to be fitted and pay for the pants.  This year girls will be offered a style in girls' and junior sizes.  Parents with girls will want to wait until later in the month to go so the store has the all sizes in stock to try on. Boys' sizes are available now to try on.  On Oct. 1, the store will place one order for the pants.  Once they arrive, we will deliver both the polo and the pants to your child in class.  Money saving tip:  Stagecoach accepts Greenbax!  Deadline to order and pay for your pants is Sept. 30.  If you already have the uniform pants, please tell your child so he or she can let us know if we ask.

Jazz Band

We will be ordering the Jazz Band polos shortly.  These shirts are included in your band fee. If you want to choose your child's size and haven't turned in the purple order form, please do so as soon as possible.  Extra forms are available in class. We will be sizing the remaining students in class.  We will be ordering Men's, Women's and Youth sizes.

7th and 8th Grade Bands

Wando's 8th grade Band Night is Sept. 18th.  All 8th graders are required to wear the black Cario Band t-shirt.  If you need a new t-shirt, please return the order form and payment ($7 per shirt) by Friday, Sept. 4.  We will be placing the order Friday after school.    Ordering information for tuxedos and dresses will be sent home later this month.  Please return your order promptly to ensure that the items are received in time for the first concert.   Uniform tip of the day for all grades:  No Sneakers at Concerts! Questions about uniforms?  Please email unforms@cariobands.org.

Treasurer's Update

The initial $25 band deposit if not already paid is now past due. The first installment of $50 is due on Friday, September 25, 2009. We need to get these payments in as soon as possible as updated student account statements are being prepared. Please send these payments in with your child so they can put them in the drop box located in the band room. You can also mail it to Cario Band Boosters, 1121-B Park West Blvd., Box 224, Mount Pleasant, SC, 29466. This does not apply to those of you that have already paid your band fees ($175) in full.
